It was November, 2011 and we were tired of the cold, wet and frosty temperatures. We wanted some sunshine and warmth for a bit. Sooo, we hunted on line through our timeshare and found a place in Cabo San Lucas where we could spend two weeks, so after finding flights around the same booking dates we made our plans. We drove down to Victoria and left our car with a friend to watch for us and flew out on a very cold frosty morning. Sure enough we arrived to blue skies, warmth, sunshine and a beach resort. We stayed at the Finisstera Hotel on Lands End (that's the stretch of beach that goes out to the famous "Cabo Arch"). This hotel is to oldest in Cabo. The original part of the hotel overlooks the marina and town, but we stayed in the newer section and had a beach and ocean view. We spent two wonderful weeks lazing around the pool(s) ... 3 of them, walking the beach and strolling through the tourist flea markets in town.
