I don't know what's up with this blog thing, but it cut me off before I was finished. Couldn't go back and edit as there were "errors". Luckily it published what I had typed to date.
There's a pool, library, lots of laundries and showers, rec hall, exercise room with tons of equipment and a full monthly schedule of activities, starting in November. Dances, visiting entertainment two nights a week, pot lucks, yes, Bingo, bocce ball, pool hall, walking groups, craft classes, quilting and sewing group to name a few. So for now the park is quite empty and quiet. We're on our own for now. Met some of the permanent residents, all verrrry friendly.
As I was saying, we reserved a spot for the winter and then will leave this beast in dry storage for next year, safe and sound.
We, actually I should say, Frank, drove a total of 2,920 miles from Sointula to Tucson in 14 days. That's a lot. 4,699 kl for you up there in Canada.
We'll be leaving here at the end of October for home. Sorry there's no photos. Can't load them from my iPad. Have to use the computer and Picasa, which I can't do here.
